This course is the continuation of Reading for General Communication, and the requirement for taking Reading for Academic Purposes. In this course, the students will be guided to improve their advance reading skills,which include looking for main ideas, identifying the meaning of words/phrases in context, making a summary, recognizing pattern of organiztaion of teh text, discovering author's point of view, etc. The activities involve various types of text, such as descriptive text, expository and persuasion.
